About

I've earned my livelihood through artistic means my entire adult life - over 35 years so far. I've been involved in a wide variety of creative ventures aside from my ongoing painting during this time. This includes designing and fabricating studio sets for many of the local Houston TV Stations, creating an even wider variety of events of all sorts throughout the Houston area, as well as painting backdrops, murals and custom signs. I've been self-employed and "off the grid" for the past 20 years or so and currently working on my art full time. I've been fascinated by historic architecture for many years and my art often reflects that - lately I am enjoying working in smaller sizes and my most recent paintings are influenced by the Streets of Houston, Beer Joints, Old Theaters, Live Music, the Backroads & Main Streets of Texas, our National Parks - and life in general.

See my Galleries of Art in the Menu bar for examples of my current and past work.

See my Etsy site for a complete collection of recent paintings featuring the Streets of Houston and Backroads of Texas.

STREETS OF HOUSTON - Current exhibit of 55 paintings - Prints now on display at Fix Coffeebar in Houston, Texas.  January thru December 2021

* You can also view all of these paintings on my Esty Store site - see link at top *

I'm inspired by travelling the country, exploring our National Parks, big cities, live music, outdoor activities...and everyday life.

My art usually reflects my interests and inspirations. But not always.
